At Street Dawah Nigeria, our mission is to spread the beautiful message of Islam across Nigeria and beyond. Through various initiatives, we engage with people from all walks of life, providing them with knowledge, support, and opportunities to learn more about the faith.
Street Dawah
We take Islam to the streets, engaging with individuals and communities in open conversations about the faith. Our team of dedicated da’ees (Islamic educators) share Islamic teachings, answer questions, and offer literature to those who are interested. This face-to-face interaction is at the heart of what we do, allowing us to reach people in their daily environments.
New Muslims Support
For those who embrace Islam, we provide continuous support and guidance through mentorship programs, educational resources, and social integration. We understand that accepting Islam is just the first step in a lifelong journey, and we are here to make that journey smoother and more fulfilling for new Muslims.
Islamic Education
We believe that learning is a lifelong process, which is why we organize workshops, seminars, and reading programs to educate both Muslims and non-Muslims about Islam. Our programs cover a wide range of topics, from the basics of faith to in-depth discussions on Islamic history, culture, and modern-day challenges.
Online Dawah
In today’s world, the internet is a powerful tool for spreading the message of Islam. We use social media platforms, videos, and digital content to reach people far and wide. Through campaigns, online discussions, and webinars, we are able to engage with a global audience, answering questions and sharing Islamic teachings in a creative and accessible way.
Mosque Tour
We welcome non-Muslims for guided tours of mosques across Nigeria. These tours provide an inside look at Islamic practices and worship, and offer an open forum for questions and discussions. It’s an excellent opportunity for interfaith dialogue and cultural exchange.
Community Outreach
Our work goes beyond just sharing the message of Islam; we are also actively involved in serving the community. Through charitable projects, feeding programs, and supporting those in need, we demonstrate the practical aspects of Islam’s values of compassion, justice, and generosity.
Events and Public Engagement
We host a wide range of events, from public lectures to workshops and open-air dawah sessions. These events are designed to provide in-depth knowledge of Islam, foster interfaith dialogue, and create opportunities for people to ask questions about the faith in a welcoming and open environment.
School and University Dawah
We actively engage with students and academic institutions by organizing talks, discussions, and dawah activities on campuses. These events help clarify misconceptions about Islam, inspire the youth, and provide a platform for intellectual dialogue about faith and spirituality.
